What is a smoke or fog machine?

A smoke machine doesn’t actually generate smoke per se, but rather creates fog to fill the room with an atmospheric effect. Smoke machines are safe and pose no health or fire risk. They’re often used in theaters for stage plays, clubs, and venues for musical performances.
